Michael Swek of Unique Home Audio (link) was dancing down the hallways of the Florida Audio Expo by end-of-show on Sunday afternoon. He, like Justin Weber, was mobbed all weekend long with Acora-hungry showgoers searching restlessly for the listed trio Acora speaker exhibits. On the main floor of the show Acora Acoustics was debuting their latest VRC flagship and thus minting fans by the dozens.

On display: speakers by Acora Acoustics, electronics by VAC, Gold Note, Atmasphere, turntable by Acoustic Signature, cables by Empirical Design, racks by Solid Tech.
Mr. Swek really brought the retail experience to the Florida show. Mostly by having a variety of sources and amplifiers to choose from. Though the class-D offering from Atma-Sphere left us wanting more in the lower registers. The Gold Note PA 1175 amplifier with its 200 watt plus power output availability was at the ready to put any doubts of the Acora SRC-1‘s low bass ability to rest.
For us however, new is the news, and VAC was displaying the newest version of their acclaimed Sigma integrated amplifier. Notably this combination of VAC and Acora left us with the most complete picture of the musical information at hand. And it’s not the first time we’ve found the best synergy among these two brands in concert.
