Grand Seiko revealed the SLGH021G ‘Genbi Valley’ at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024, a limited-edition watch that captures the scenic beauty of Genbi Valley in its dial. Located in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, the valley’s dramatic landscape and lush greenery are mirrored in the textured light-green dial, which shifts with the light for a dynamic visual experience. The heart of this watch is the Caliber 9SA5, a high-beat movement with a Dual Impulse Escapement and twin barrels, providing an 80-hour power reserve and operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. Encased in Ever-Brilliant Steel, the SLGH021G offers 10 bar water resistance and 4,800 A/m magnetic resistance, along with the highest corrosion resistance among luxury watch materials, with a PREN value 1.7 times higher than standard, ensuring excellent, long-lasting durability and reliability.
