Celebrating 25 years of the original Datograph model, A. Lange & Söhne launched the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon Honeygold “Lumen” at Watches and Wonders 2024. This timepiece integrates three classic complications: a chronograph with a flyback function, a perpetual calendar with instantaneous jumping displays, and a minute tourbillon with a stop-seconds mechanism. The flyback function allows for swift measurements, and the perpetual calendar features a rapid-correction button to advance all displays by one day, ensuring precise adjustments at midnight. The minute tourbillon mitigates the effects of gravity and enhances accuracy by rotating the balance and escape wheel within a cage. Limited to 50 pieces and crafted in Honeygold, the watch’s darkened translucent dial and luminous displays ensure readability, making it a remarkable addition to the brand’s legacy.
