WADAX has debuted the Studio • Player, a groundbreaking entry in their new Studio lineup, at Munich High End 2024. As the inaugural WADAX Studio line product, the Studio • Player is an all-in-one digital solution combining a state-of-the-art Digital-to-Analogue conversion stage, CD transport, streamer, and digital pre-amp. This meticulously engineered player’s chassis comprises 620 custom-machined parts and 14 different materials for premier resonance and vibration management. It also houses 40 circuit boards and over 4500 discrete components, ensuring high sound precision.
The Studio • Player stands out with its sophisticated in-house developed ASIC, musIC 3. It employs a 128-bit feed-forward error correction system to correct time and phase errors in real-time. Additionally, the Studio • Player has built-in support for Spotify and Tidal, enhancing music streaming experience for convenient music entertainment. Support for UPnP and DLNA playback will also be available some time after launch. WADAX plans to expand this range with additional digital Studio products, including the dedicated Studio • DAC, Studio • Clock, and Studio • PSU, all designed to integrate seamlessly with the Studio • Player to achieve even greater performance levels.
